MATH: SIMPLE ADDITION
Tree adding activity
Help your students draw a tree. Students can roll two dice or pick two number cards to create a number sentence ex. (2+1=3) They then draw the apples on the tree to show the answer to the addition number sentence they have created.

JOURNAL: Draw a picture of a Bear that you would find on a Bear Hunt!
BOOK: We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen
CRAFT: Make a simple pair of binoculars out of two toilet paper rolls or a paper towel roll cut in half to use on your Bear Hunt!
ACTIVITY: Hide a Bear or any stuffed animal for your child and go on a Bear Hunt to find it. Don't forget to use your binoculars! Go Under tables, Over beds, Around couches, and Through rooms to to find the Bear. Sing the "Going on a Bear Hunt" song! Weather permitting, you can of course go outside to do your Bear Hunt!
